A Love for Writing

One of my joys in life is writing. It was my best achievement in college, and something that I have continued to enjoy over the years. When I was a stay-at-home mom, I wrote to keep my mind from turning into jelly, and turned out a Historical Romance manuscript over a 2-3 year process. Then when I started working, I set it aside and got busy with the demands of life.  Nearly 25 years later, I am rewriting it, but have found a LOT has changed in the literary world over the years with regard to submissions of manuscripts. I'm following Melynda Price's blog to read what she's learned in the process as she journeys toward publication of her first book Redemption.
